Otter footprints on new land

Hello again. A couple of little updates today. Firstly – here is a little video I took down by the river bank of the new land at East Waste we are acquiring for rewilding, talking about how it would aid connectivity. A few minutes after that I spotted this otter footprint shown above. So we have otters using the river by the land! Obviously this does not mean they are there because of us, but it does mean that as the land starts to ‘wild up’ it will create more cover, more space for other species and may start to affect how the otters use the land.

As ever keep sharing on social and please support if you can either on this website or at our crowdfunder page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-rewild-the-somerset-levels
